RENO, Nev., Nov. 10, 2011 /Coal Geology-PRNewswire/ — General Metals (GNMT; OTC.BB) announced the discovery of a potential new envelope of gold and silver mineralization at the Independence Project in the Battle Mountain - Cortez Gold Belt in Nevada. The discovery was announced following the analysis of data from two drill holes set outside and apart from the primary area of mineralization at the project. These two holes, GM-127 and GM-128, were completed at the end of the Company’s most recent drilling campaign and they targeted the high grade oxidized mineralization in “feeder structures” that underlie the main ore zone.

The first hole into the “feeder structure”, GM-127, contained an interval which assayed 0.908 opt Au and 0.36 opt Ag over 10 feet with an individual high of 1.586 opt Au over 5 feet.

The second, GM-128, contained 1.019 opt Au and 0.99 opt Ag over 15 feet, and an individual high sample of 2.897 opt Au over five feet. The intercept in GM-128 is believed to represent a high grade fluid conduit or a potential high grade mineralized zone similar to those mined historically from the Independence Mine.

These intercepts, if sustained by the additional work planned by the Company, could significantly increase the overall size of the mineralization resource at the Project. The Company’s CNI 43-101 report currently identifies 223.3 thousand ounces of Au and 3.784 million ounces of Ag in the resource.

“This is an extremely exciting development,” remarked Daniel J. Forbush, Company President and CEO. ”As we continue our work towards bringing the Hill Zone of the Company’s Independence Project into production we look forward to defining this discovery further. Our previous drilling completed in the program intersected very large, continuously mineralized zones of surface and near surface, oxidized gold mineralization up to 445 feet (135 meters) in width within the potential open pit, heap leach target. Mineralization in the Independence Shallow target is open down dip to the west and to the north as well as upslope to the east and at depth. This means that we have an excellent opportunity to increase the resources and move even more ounces into the proven and probable category as well as into the mining success of the project.”

All the holes drilled to date at the Project have encountered oxide mineralization and all drill intervals are similar in character to material which yielded more than 85% extractable gold in large diameter bulk column leach tests previously reported by the Company.

Further details regarding the Independence mineralization, drilling efforts, both historical and current together with current permitting activity are available on the Company’s websitewww.generalmetalscorporation.com.

About General Metals Corporation: General Metals Corporation is an aggressive junior minerals exploration and development company, based in Reno, Nevada. The Company is actively exploring and developing its 100% controlled Independence property strategically located in the prolific and highly prospective Battle Mountain Mining District of Nevada.

Such forward-looking statements include, among other things, that the proceeds from the recent private placement will allow the Company to proceed with permitting at its Independence Mine in Nevada or any shallow mining production at any time, that any estimated ounces of gold or silver are contained in the mineralized material in the “Shallow Target,” and is proposed to be mined and loaded onto a cyanide heap leach pad, or any future financings that the Company may enter into.

Actual results could differ from those projected in any forward-looking statements due to numerous factors. Such factors include, among others, the inherent uncertainties associated with mineral exploration. We are not in control of metals prices and these could vary to make development uneconomic.

April 26, 2011, NEW YORK, (Coal Geology) - Investor Uprising (www.investoruprising.com) has released “All That Glitters: The Ultimate Gold Report,” a 28-page, definitive guide to the gold bull market, as part of the launch of its premium research service, Investor Uprising Confidential (www.investoruprising.com/confidential).

The result of six months of research, “The Ultimate Gold Report” analyzes the leading factors driving the price of gold. It also breaks down a detailed quantitative analysis of the gold price, telling you how high the price could go, based on historical market metrics.

“Amazingly, lots of people have missed one of the most consistent bull markets of modern times,” says R. Scott Raynovich, Editor in Chief of Investor Uprising Confidential. “Our research indicates that gold has plenty more room to run, and that by several metrics, gold is still undervalued. We think this is why some of the world’s best hedge funds are holding tight.”

Gold hit a new all-time historical record this week, reaching $1,500 per ounce. The report analyzes the gold price with respect to historical data such as global debt levels, its percentage of the US monetary supply, and its relationship to total global financial assets and to other markets such as oil. The report compares the current price moves with past bull markets and concludes that gold could be entering the most powerful stage of its most aggressive price rise ever.

The report also includes an analysis of the leading gold-mining companies, all of which are profitable and have attractive valuation metrics with a rising gold price. The companies analyzed in the report include Agnico-Eagle Mines (NYSE: AEM), AngloGold Ashanti (NYSE: AU), Barrick Gold (NYSE: ABX), Buenaventura (NYSE: BVN), Eldorado Gold (NYSE: EGO), Gold Fields (NYSE: GFI), Goldcorp (NYSE: GG), Kinross Gold (NYSE: KGC), Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM), and Yamana Gold (NYSE: AUY).

The report is the first in a series of six ground-breaking industry reports that will be issued by IU Confidential this year. The service can be located at www.investoruprising.com/confidential.

March 6, 2011, RENO, NV -(Coal Geology) – Rae-Wallace Mining Company (PINKSHEETS: RAEW) (“Rae-Wallace” or the “Company”) has announced the completion of an IP-resistivity survey at its Toro Blanco gold project, located in the Huancavelica Department of southwest Peru. Toro Blanco hosts high-sulphidation, epithermal-style gold mineralization and is the Company’s top exploration priority for 2011.

The 19 line-kilometer survey defined an anomalous 2-kilometer by 1.5-kilometer zone which returned low to moderate IP values consistent with a response expected from a large volume of hydrothermally altered rock containing disseminated, potentially gold-bearing sulfides. This large IP anomaly is partially coincident with a 2-kilometer by 0.25-kilometer ENE-trending sinuous zone of intense alteration associated with very permissive hydrothermal breccias, dense quartz stockwork and anomalous gold, with rock samples yielding up to 0.976 grams of gold per tonne. Rae-Wallace is currently planning and permitting an 8-hole, 3600-meter drill program to test this target later this year.

Like most of Peru’s epithermal gold camps, Toro Blanco is underlain by Tertiary-aged volcanics and related coeval intrusions. Alteration assemblages (intermediate to advanced argillic alteration), elemental associations (Mo, Cu and Pb anomalies) and geophysical responses (chargeability anomalies associated with resistivity anomalies) also support the project’s epithermal target model.

The geophysical survey was designed and interpreted by Dr. Richard Van Blaricom of Spokane, Washington and was performed by Fugro Ground Geophysics of Lima, Peru.

For more information about Rae-Wallace, please visit the Company’s website at www.raewallace.com.

Rae-Wallace Mining Company is exploring drill-ready gold and silver properties along the prolific mineral belts of Peru, the world leader in foreign mining investment. The Company is led by senior industry executives and skilled explorationists, experienced at the identification, acquisition, and development of successful, large-scale, international mining projects. The Company has prominent corporate shareholders and features a tight share structure, allowing room for acquisitions and financing while providing investors outstanding leverage to discovery. Rae-Wallace stock currently trades on the OTC market under the symbol “RAEW.”
