Photograph-Problem with Packers

Here is one example of Problem with Packer Test- The Packer is Bent along with the 1 inch perforated pipeline in between the two Packers in a straddle Packer set up.

What could be the reason? Guess and reply.

    The plastic behaviour of certain rocks such as conglomerates, breccia, and very coarse grained s.stones and coal and shale may be one of the factor causing the bending, particlarly when the drilling is deep and the diameter of drilling rods are less than 50 cm.
