Low cost airline SpiceJet introduces two new direct sectors in summer

Kolkata, March 18 (Coal Geology) Low cost airline SpiceJet has introduced two direct sectors — Ahmedabad-Kolkata and Kolkata-Hyderabad — in its summer schedule for this year.

The company’s Chief Commercial Officer Samyukth Sridharan said in a statement that it would also increase its operations in the northeast by commencing daily return flights to Agartala from Kolkata, effective from April 15.

Agartala will be SpiceJet’s 19th station in India. The airline also announced its second Kolkata-Guwahati flight with evening timings.

The Kolkata-Agartala flight will depart from the city at 2.10 p.m. and reach Agartala at 3 p.m. The return flight will take off from Agartala at 3.30 p.m. and reach Kolkata at 4.20 p.m.

The Ahmedabad-Kolkata flight will start from the western Indian city at 2.40 p.m. and touch down here at 5.10 p.m. On its return journey, the flight will leave Kolkata at 9 p.m. and arrive in Ahmedabad at 11.30 p.m.

The Hyderabad-Kolkata flight will depart at 11.40 a.m. and reach the city at 1.40 p.m. While returning, it flies off from Kolkata at 4.50 p.m. and descend in Hyderabad at 6.55 p.m.
