Every year small town Coalwood in West Virginia celebrates an open sky festival during the first Saturday of October. Coalwood is very much known as the “Home of the Rocket Boys”. We visit Coalwood every year.

This year we felt that it received less crowd than previous two years. The temporary coal museum has become smaller even more since the last year. Only two tables of old mining stuff – coins and other things. Some pictures attached:
